At the first meeting of the Cabinet of the Philippines president-elect Rodrigo Duterte made a surprise announcement regarding online gambling. The President intends to revoke the licenses of operators who organize and conduct games of fortune on the Internet.
To date, there are difficulties regarding tax statements for online casinos, despite the presence of the appropriate licenses. I intend to apply to PAGCOR to suspend the issue of licenses for online operators,

The regulator of the gambling industry of the Philippines (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp, PAGCOR) exercises control over the activities of the operators that organize and conduct games of fortune in the country, as well as providing gambling services.
Earlier, the President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte has appointed the head of the regulator of the gambling industry, Andrea Domingo – the former head of the Bureau of the country of immigration.
