Swiss Cooperative KPMG, one of the world’s largest professional services providers, is to offer financial processing via Oracle Cloud, the company states on its news blog.

The new collaboration is dubbed ‘KPMG Powered Finance’, and will provide customers with Cloud-based financial processing, reporting tools and analytics in an Oracle Cloud environment. The new offering will make a range of financial services available to FTSE 350 organisations, and aims to provide the new tools in an agile consumer environment.

KPMG Head of Financial Management Patrick Fenton is quoted in the announcement: “By teaming up with Oracle we are demonstrating our commitment to technology-driven change, with the crucial recognition that cloud-based tools and programmes give organisations the freedom they need to adapt and grow.”

Oracle’s Vice President of Sales UK Applications Mark Newton said: “In today’s dynamic business environment, customers need to leverage digital technologies such as cloud and business analytics to continuously add value and innovate.” He adds “To help modern finance organizations fast-track their digital journey, KPMG is working with Oracle to provide transformational projects with Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud.”

KPMG, headquartered in the Netherlands, has origins dating back to 1870, but was officially established in 1987 after a century of labyrinthine mergers. The company currently has a revenue of $23.42bn.

Oracle Financial Services Software Limited currently offers a diverse range of services and products, divided into its Banking products Division and its PrimeSourcing facility. The array includes Analytical Applications, FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Suites, Financial Crime and Compliance Management and Enterprise Performance Management.
