Monika Schuster retires as CFO of Bender

Monika Schuster, who served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Bender until September 2023, retired at the end of last year.
Her tenure as part of Bender’s management team since 2020 has been marked by significant contributions to the growth of the Grünberg-based family business into a global entity.
Significant Contributions and Leadership Impact
At a shareholders’ meeting before Christmas, Monika Schuster officially bid farewell.
Dorothea Bender Fernández, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the Bender Group, said: “I really valued the appreciative manner of Monika Schuster,”
Fernández acknowledged the valuable insights she gained from Schuster’s leadership. Her responsibilities extended beyond finance to overseeing Human Resources/HR.
Monika Schuster, who holds a Master’s degree in computer science, held management positions in several medium-sized companies in Germany prior to her tenure at Bender, which began in 2018 as Vice President for Central Functions/Finance Controlling. In 2020, she ascended to the role of CFO, becoming a key part of Bender’s management team.
Since October 2023, Dr. Sven Hartung, an economist, has taken over the role of CFO at Bender.
