LU-VE Group to showcase sustainable data centre solutions at Data Centre World 2024

Thu 22 Feb 2024

LU-VE Group is set to highlight its commitment to sustainable data centre practices at Data Centre World 2024 on 6-7 March at ExCeL London.

The company will focus on creating state-of-the-art facilities that address the digital era’s demands while leading in eco-friendly initiatives.

Innovative Projects and Renewable Energy Integration

The group is currently involved in a significant project in Falun, Sweden, where it is delivering 60MW of cooling capacity, with plans to supply an additional 30MW of adiabatic coolers for a new data centre site in September.

This initiative is notable for its complete reliance on 100% renewable energy, with 75% sourced from hydropower and 25% from wind power, ensuring low CO₂ emissions and competitive energy costs.

The surplus energy from the plant is utilised to produce renewable fuel, highlighting the project’s comprehensive approach to sustainability.
