His Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) has selected Keysource to support the operation of its Online System for Central Accounting and Reporting version 2 (OSCAR II).

This system is crucial for cross-government financial management, providing detailed departmental spending analyses and supporting the production of the Whole of Government Accounts (WGA) and Supply Estimates.

Jon Healy, COO at Keysource said: “OSCAR II was developed to put finance analytics at the heart of decisions across Government, using more accurate data and spending more time on insight and analysis and less on manual quality checks and validation.”

Comprehensive Service Delivery

Following a competitive tender, Keysource will oversee the maintenance and operation of OSCAR II’s hosted environment. This includes ensuring the system’s availability, performance, and security, alongside developing enhancements for optimisation.

“Our role is to help provide a secure, scalable, and reliable platform for this financial management and reporting, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the system. We are extremely proud to have been entrusted with this prestigious and important contract,” added Healy.

Keysource’s responsibilities extend to managing the service desk, offering user support, and serving as the single point of contact for all OSCAR II end users and suppliers.

Rachel Salim, Deputy Director Finance Analytics, Control and Technology at HM Treasury, said: “Through the tender process, transition and first few months of delivery, Keysource have demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation … We are excited to see how we can evolve the service together over the next three years.”

This partnership highlights Keysource’s expertise in delivering critical services for high-stakes government operations, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted provider in the field.
