Capgemini Government Solutions names Dan Ford as CEO

Technology services and digital transformation company, Capgemini Government Solutions, has appointed Dan Ford as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ford succeeds Bill Webner, who has resigned to pursue new opportunities.

Dan Ford brings nearly two decades of experience within Capgemini Government Solutions to his new role. Capgemini said Ford has played a pivotal role in partnering with Government agencies to enhance their operational efficiency through technology.

Ford’s leadership journey at Capgemini includes significant positions such as National Security Sector Leader and, most recently, Head of US Federal Sectors.

“Dan has been a key driver behind the growth in the Capgemini Government Solutions business … We are confident that under his leadership, the company will continue to strengthen its position and deliver exceptional value to our government clients,” said Jim Bailey, CEO at Capgemini in the Americas and Group Executive Board Member.

Throughout his tenure, Ford’s team has focused on fostering growth, collaboration, and strategic alignment across various sectors including civilian, health, national security, and defense. He holds a Master of Engineering in Logistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Davidson College.

Capgemini is said Ford’s appointment signals a commitment to ongoing innovation and competitiveness within the federal marketplace. His leadership aims to build upon Capgemini Government Solutions’ track record of delivering critical outcomes for US Federal clients.
