Airedale delivers its largest bespoke chillers for major data centre project

Airedale by Modine has successfully delivered its largest bespoke free cooling chillers for an undisclosed data centre operator.
This order includes 21 super-sized chillers, each 22 metres long and equipped with 36 fans, marking one of the largest single colocation orders.
Cooling Solutions for Sustainable Data Centers
The project encompasses a broad range of cooling technologies designed to meet the operator’s stringent sustainability goals for their 30MW campus.
In addition to the large chillers, the order includes 2 DeltaChill free cooling chillers with 16 fans, 72 AireWall units, 12 SmartCool ONE chilled water downflow units, and advanced control systems for optimal efficiency, including the Cooling System Optimiser and an on-site Building Management System (BMS).
Adam Yarrington, Business Unit Director for Data Centers at Airedale, said: “Delivering efficiencies that meet sustainability objectives and help us reduce the impact of mechanical cooling on our planet, is something we care deeply about at Airedale.”
The project highlights Airedale’s commitment to delivering high-efficiency cooling solutions and its ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
