Critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions company, Vertiv, has unveiled its latest portfolio of high-density data centre infrastructure solutions, Vertiv™ 360AI.

Tailored to meet the escalating power and cooling demands of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, this new offering is available across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

With AI and high-performance computing reshaping the data centre landscape, Vertiv™ 360AI is engineered to expedite AI deployments of all sizes. From rack solutions for Edge AI and pilot testing to comprehensive data centres for AI model training, Vertiv™ 360AI intends to cater to diverse AI infrastructure requirements.

Vertiv said the surge in AI and accelerated computing is fuelling an unprecedented need for power and cooling, with rack densities projected to soar to 500kW per rack. Consequently, power and cooling infrastructure design and implementation have become increasingly intricate.

Vertiv 360AI offers a simplified solution for powering and cooling AI operations, presenting a portfolio of power, cooling, and service solutions to address the complexities associated with the AI revolution. This includes validated designs and pre-engineered solutions, leveraging Vertiv’s expertise to streamline deployment and eliminate design iterations.

“Our solutions offer a streamlined pathway for scaleable AI infrastructure, tackling the evolving challenges posed by high-performance computing. Vertiv™ 360AI is engineered to facilitate the rapid deployment of air-cooled edge and enterprise data centres, as well as the development of hyperscale greenfield projects,” said Karsten Winther, President for EMEA at Vertiv.

Vertiv™ 360AI incorporates prefabricated modular solutions, allowing customers to implement AI infrastructure without disrupting existing workloads or consuming additional floorspace. Initial offerings within the Vertiv 360AI portfolio can support over 130kW per rack, featuring designs optimised for retrofits.
