Esteemed Judging Panel Announced For Data Centre World Awards

The Data Centre World Awards 2023 in Partnership with Dunwoody: Submit your free entries before Friday 25th November

An esteemed panel of judges has been announced for the Data Centre World Awards, including influential technology leaders from Arup, Google, and Marks & Spencer.

The Data Centre World Awards, taking place on 8 March 2023, recognises the people, innovations, and operations within the data centre industry that have gone above and beyond to achieve outstanding excellence in the sector. Entries are set to close on 25 November 2022.

Adrianna Niedźwiecka, the EMEA Regional Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety for Google’s Third-party Data Centres, shared her excitement of being selected as a judge: “The awards’ special focus on environment, efficiency improvements, and innovation aligns closely with my personal goals of promoting initatives which foster and advance sustainability, and engaging the wider community to make the vision of a carbon-free future for all become a reality.”

Award categories at the Data Centre World Awards include:

  • Most Successfully Delivered Data Centre
  • Green Data Centre of the Year
  • Environmental Product of the Year
  • Special Contribution to Improving Resilience Through Innovation
  • Best Talent Developer
  • Innovation Product of the Year

Adelle Desouza, Founder of HireHigher and former Digital Marketing Manager for Macquarie Cloud Services, will join the judging panel for the Best Talent Developer award.

“There are many in the data centre industry that are driving change and spearheading success within the world of people, culture, and talent. Now is your time to be recognised and rewarded,” said Adelle Desouza.

The full Data Centre World Awards judging panel also features advocates for data centre sustainability, efficient design, and cost effectiveness, including:

  • Steve Hone, CEO and Co-Founder at Data Centre Alliance
  • Venessa Moffat, Strategy and Growth Specialist at Pragma Strategy

“Data Centre World hosts these annual prestigious awards representing the highest standard of relevance and recognition in the data centre sector, and are given for improvements that change what we do and how we serve the industry for the better,” said Gareth Williams of Arup.

The Data Centre World Awards, supported by Dunwoody, will take place on 8 March 2023 at ExCeL London. Entries and nominations for the awards will close on 25 November 2022 – submit your entry today!
