Industry giants Airbus and L’Oréal attend Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris 2023 to address cyber challenges

CloserStill Media’s Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris 2023 emerged as a pivotal platform for discussing pressing cybersecurity challenges and solutions, drawing experts from various sectors.

The event showcased a series of top sessions and panels, featuring insights from seasoned professionals across the healthcare, SME, supply chain, and regulatory domains.

Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris is part of Tech Show Paris, which brings together five leading events, including Cloud Expo Europe Paris, DevOps Live Paris, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, Data & AI Leaders’ Summit Paris, and Data Centre World Paris.

Insightful Discussions and Expert Panels

Key sessions included a deep dive into cybersecurity in healthcare, addressing the rising tide of attacks on hospitals. Experts from Doctolib, ANS – CERT Santé, and SESAN shared their perspectives in a session moderated by Global Security Mag.

Another panel focused on the vulnerabilities of small and medium enterprises to cyberattacks, with insights from Women4Cyber, the National Gendarmerie, RiskIntel, Kerialis, and CEFCYS.

The supply chain’s cybersecurity risks were scrutinised by speakers from the Ministry of the Armed Forces, Natixis, and the French Federation of Cybersecurity.

Hermès representatives discussed innovative approaches to cybersecurity incident detection and response, while Allianz Partners SAS navigated AI regulations and governance.

Olivier Bernard, VP of IT Flight Operation at Air France, emphasised the Expo’s significance: “It was important for me to take part in this show because cybersecurity is a relatively new domain. It’s an opportunity to exchange and to make new connections.”

Government and Industry Engagement

The event also featured Government speakers from the French Home Office, National Gendarmerie, and the Ministry of Armed Forces, highlighting the public sector’s commitment to cybersecurity.

Exhibitors and VIP Attendance

Top exhibitors like Fortinet, Wiz, Mimecast, and Orange Cyber Defense showcased their latest solutions.

Meanwhile, VIP visitors from Carrefour, Renault, Airbus, BNP, L’Oréal, and various Government ministries underscored the event’s high-profile engagement.

Audience Insights and Industry Representation

Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris attracted a diverse audience, with 36% holding roles such as RSSI/CISO/CSO, and significant representation from the technology, consulting, banking/finance, and government/education sectors.

Notably, 36% of companies were also identified as potential buyers or investors in information security solutions, predominantly operating within the EMEA region.

With more than 2,000 leads generated for exhibitors, the Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts in addressing cybersecurity’s evolving landscape.

Looking ahead, the 2024 programme promises a strong focus on AI’s role in both perpetrating and preventing cyberattacks.
