Ahead of Data Centre World Frankfurt on 22-23 May at Messe Frankfurt, Tech Show Frankfurt has released a preview of the event’s highlights.

With Hyperscale data centre capacity doubling every four years and with data centre energy consumption having the potential to double by 2026, it is paramount for companies and organisations to keep a finger on the pulse of the industry,

Data Centre World Frankfurt aims to inform attendees about these current trends as well as emerging developments and opportunities in the space, preparing them for success within the evolving landscape.

Exhibitors at the Forefront of Data Centres

Data Centre World Frankfurt said it is proud to showcase a distinguished lineup of exhibitors, representing leading innovators in data centre technology and solutions.

Among the notable participants are Daikin, ABB, Exyte, Stulz GmbH, Hilti, Schneider Electric, Huawei, SOCOMEC, Carrier HVAC, DPR Construction, AuRue, Durata, DC Smarter, German Data Centre Association, Suir Engineering, Data Centre Group, DTM Group, and Niedax. 

These industry leaders will present their latest advancements and solutions, offering attendees insights into the evolving data centre landscape. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, network with key professionals, and gain valuable knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency in their data centre operations.

Speakers Stepping into the Spotlight

Entrepreneur, investor, and influential advocate for diversity, Tijen Onaran, will open Tech Show Frankfurt with a highly anticipated keynote session to instil in attendees an understanding of the transformative power of diversity. Attendees can attend her session on a first come, first served basis or watch the live stream across any of the Keynote theatres.

Experts from various sectors will share their insights at Data Centre World Frankfurt. Space Safety Data Centre Manager at the European Space Agency (ESA), Gianpiero Di Girolamo, will discuss the challenges and opportunities in developing data centres, leveraging his background in software design and critical aerospace operations.

Board Member of the German Datacenter Association e.V. (GDA), Günter Eggers, will focus on initiatives to boost sustainability in data centres, offering lessons from the German market. 

President of the Swiss Datacenter Efficiency Association (SDEA), Prof. Babak Falsafi, will provide a session on navigating data centre efficiency, drawing from his significant contributions to sustainable cloud and data centre technologies.

From the corporate sector, the Lead Data Center Expert at Legrand, Niek van der Pas, will discuss the impact of AI on data centre design. Talent Acquisition Lead, EMEA at VIRTUS Data Centres, Shanna Whelan, will participate in a panel addressing talent development and the skills gap in data centre operations.

Representing advanced data centre construction, Studio Practice Leader for Mission Critical at HKS, William Ringer, will participate in a panel on sustainable data centre construction and design practices. The Mayor of Bedburg, Sascha Solbach, will join a panel on sustainable data centre developments in Germany.

From the energy sector, the Global Head of Data Architecture and Governance at E.ON Digital Technology, Romina Pyplacz, will discuss digital innovation as a catalyst for the energy transition.

Data Centre World Frankfurt has partnered with the German Data Centre Association, SDEA, Dutch Data Centre Association, Verband Innovatives Rechenzentrum e.V., Enterprise Ireland, and BDIA. 

Data Centre World Frankfurt said these partnerships aim to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the data centre industry. Together, they aim to provide attendees with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and resources to navigate the evolving landscape of data centre technology and solutions.
