DC Byte has announced a new partnership with the Swedish Datacenter Industry Association (SweDCI), a collaboration aimed at strengthening data transparency and evidence-based planning across Sweden’s fast-growing digital infrastructure sector.
The agreement brings together Sweden’s leading industry association and one of the world’s most comprehensive data centre intelligence platforms. Both organisations say the partnership will support more reliable market insight, clearer public communication, and more informed decision-making for operators, policymakers, and investors.
Supporting an Evolving Nordic Market
SweDCI will use DC Byte’s market intelligence to enhance its engagement with members and to communicate national market trends at conferences, public forums, and policy discussions.
“We see that the information will be valuable when communicating the development of the Datacenter Industry as a whole, both in dialogues with decision makers and investors, and in conferences where SweDCI is participating,” said Ann Wingård, Managing Director of SweDCI.
Sweden’s position as a hub for low-carbon, high-density infrastructure has increased regional demand for accurate market data. The Nordic region continues to attract major AI-focused investment, a trend highlighted this week by reports that Digital Realty and Equinix are in talks to acquire atNorth for €4.5 billion (£3.9 billion), underscoring investor appetite for scalable, sustainable platforms.
Dc Byte Expands Its Role in Nordic Insight
For DC Byte, the partnership reinforces its presence in a market its analysts describe as both fast-moving and strategically important. Senior Analyst Charlie Enright, who covers the Nordic markets, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s broader efforts to support industry-wide visibility.
“Our collaboration with SweDCI underscores our commitment to delivering actionable and up-to-date insights across the data centre industry’s most dynamic regions. Sweden represents a rapidly evolving market and, along with the wider Nordic region, sits at the forefront of the development of AI data centre infrastructure, matching scalability with sustainability,” said Enright.
Scott Roots, VP of Sales EMEA at DC Byte, added that transparency remains essential as the Nordic region continues to expand.
“Our partnership with SweDCI reflects our commitment to supporting transparent and informed growth across the Nordic region. Sweden is an important and fast-evolving data centre market, and we are proud to work with an organisation that shares our focus on data quality, industry collaboration and long-term digital infrastructure development,” said Roots.
Why It Matters
Sweden’s data centre sector has undergone rapid expansion over the past five years, driven by cloud adoption, AI workloads, and increasing international investment. As competition for land, power, and sustainable capacity intensifies, stakeholders are placing greater emphasis on trusted, independent market data.
Both organisations say they expect the partnership to strengthen Sweden’s position as a globally competitive data centre destination, with transparency becoming an increasingly important differentiator across the Nordic region.
