Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, joins Tech Show London, 2 March

CloserStill and Techerati are excited to announce that the Inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, will give the welcome address at Tech Show London on 2 March.

Named as one of Time Magazine’s 100 most important people of the 20th Century, Sir Tim will be addressing delegates at ExCel on the uses of technology for transformation for the future.

Sir Tim is an authority on the web and data strategy. As such, he will be sharing methods for harnessing tech to gain competitive edge, connecting with consumers and making bold decisions in times of uncertainty. He will also offer invaluable insights into how businesses can embrace emerging technologies to envision new markets.

Sir Tim is the CTO and founder of Inrupt, created to help the world leverage the power of Solid technology to organize data, applications, and identities on the web. He is also a Professor at both Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Oxford University.

In 2016, he received the Turing award ‘for inventing the World Wide Web, the first web browser, and the fundamental protocols and algorithms allowing the Web to scale.’ He is also a recipient of The Nobel Prize for Computing.

Attendees of Tech Show London on 2 March will glean the benefit of Sir Tim’s immense knowledge and visionary thinking.
