James is currently Managing Director of SmartThings in Europe, helping to lead the expansion of the business on a global basis. Previously, James was a member of the leadership team at British Gas Connected Homes (Hive) where he was responsible for the development of award winning products that helped transform the customers relationship with their energy provider. He is an acknowledged expert in the “Internet of Things” (IOT) and Connected Homes space with over 20 years experience in the technology, telecoms and retail sectors working with both start up’s and blue chip organisations.
