Ian Bitterlin is a UK Chartered Engineer with more than 45 years in engineering including 25 years’ experience in data centre power and cooling, formerly CTO for Emerson Network Power in EMEA and now principal at Critical Facilities Consulting Ltd, visiting professor for data centre engineering to the University of Leeds and CTO of Prism Power.
An active blogger, trainer, author of many technical papers on critical power and cooling with presentations and keynote speeches made around the world, Ian is a fellow of the IET, member of CIBSE and BCS, technical chair of the Data Centre Council of techUK, chair of the DCSG of the BCS, accredited tier designer of the Uptime Institute and ex-chair of the Technical Working Group in EMEA for The Green Grid.
