Data Centre World 2019 welcomed over 21,000 technology professionals from over 93 different countries

Data Centre World welcomed an audience of over 21,000 to the London ExCeL 12th-13th March for a record-breaking event, highlighting the latest and greatest innovations in the data centre space, including cutting-edge DCIM, energy efficiency and cost management, facilities management, critical equipment and edge computing

Technology professionals from over 93 different countries, including data centre managers, IT directors, engineers, consultants and industry experts enjoyed a raft of panel discussions, roundtables, seminars and real-life case studies and workshops, delivered by a line-up of over 800 visionary including: John Shegerian, Executive Chairman at ERI, Armand Verstappen, Manager Site Operations at eBay, Vasiliki Georgiadou, Project Manager at Green IT Amsterdam, and Ian Holford, Data Centre Regional Operations Manager at HM Government.

Data Centre World 2019 also premiered the first edition of the “6th Generation Data Centre” — addressing the raft of new technologies that are pushing the boundaries and driving efficiencies in today’s market.

The exhibition floor hosted over 700 industry-leading suppliers showcasing the latest data centre products and solutions including 2BM, Anord-Mardix, Corning, E+I Engineering, Excool, Edmunson Electrial, Huawei, Munters, Rittal, Riello UPS, Schneider Electric, Socomec, Stulz & GS Yuasa.

“I work within the data centre business and think it is crucial to stay up to date and see what innovations are out there in the market – DCW is great for that! It’s an extremely worthwhile event and I will be back again next year. As technology is growing at an enormous rate, you can’t ignore that a show like DCW is a great platform to keep up to date with the market,” said Joe Breen Director at Green Data Resources

“DCW is a great way to see who is out there in the market, view the latest products and to learn from the seminars, which are extremely informative! My company is expanding in the data centre industry, so it’s important that I stay updated,” said Joe Breen Data Analyst at CDK Global UK.

“It’s important that we are working in the most efficient way we can and with the latest equipment, that’s why being here is crucial for us. It’s great to have everything data centre related in one space, gaining industry knowledge across just two days,” he added.

“It is crucial to stay up to date with new technology and see what is going on in the sector — DCW is a great platform for that. It is is busy, in a good way and the range of exhibitors is great,” noted Edwin Ten Dam, IT Manager at NEB.
