Fireworks Fire Protection Ltd are an installer of high pressure water mist systems in data centres and server rooms and are the UK distributor for Danfoss-Semco SEM-SAFE® high pressure water mist fire suppression systems.

Danfoss Semco are a global leader in the sale, development, production and service/commissioning of certified water mist systems and protect a number of data centres worldwide.

Fireworks were formed in 1995 to meet the growing demand for a reliable contractor offering a quality service at competitive rates. Through continual growth the company provides bespoke design, supply, installation and maintenance of high pressure water mist fire suppression systems and are one of the leading installers of water mist systems in the UK.

Fireworks will be promoting the technology at this year’s Data Centre World with a demonstration on the technology on Stand L51 along with an installation within the Green Data Centre. They also have two presentations on the benefits of high pressure water mist during the event in the Green Data Centre Theatre where the benefits of water mist will be explained.

Until recently, data centres have been protected by gaseous suppression systems or sprinkler systems. With the arrival of water mist firefighting systems, however, insurers and end users are seeing that there are benefits in using this technology for these applications.
